Galerie Birch's second Pop Up exhibition in London arrives just in time for Sakura season as well as a current revival of interest in Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics and craftmanship.
Through three special evening viewings we invite you to explore the works of Yasse Tabuchi (1921-2009), one of the most eclectic Japanese artists of the post-war era.
The exhibition showcases nearly 20 years of Yasse Tabuchi’s oeuvre through carefully selected works and is an homage to a painter, who was fascinated with the idea of artistic creation. His work is enriched by a marriage of cultures - that of the Far East through his Japanese roots and that of the West, where he spent more than fifty years of his life.
